Spring Lake January 2020 Market Review

After conducting research in regards to Spring Lake market trends, homes in this luxury market appear to have an average number of 118 days on the market. This is about one month longer than last year when the average number was 90 days. That can most likely be attributed to the fact that there is a slight increase in available inventory this year. There were 45 active listings for sale in January versus last year when 37 were for sale.


Because Spring Lake is one of the most desirable places to live in New Jersey, the homes in this shore town have significant value. The average list price last month was $3,253,633.00 while the average sold price was $1,614,286.00. The number of homes sold last year at this time are comparable to this year, with 6 homes sold in 2019 and 7 sold in 2020.


There are currently 62 listings for sale which means 17 more homes were listed for sale in February, and 26 homes are now under contract. The market appears to be active and doing well in Spring Lake.
