Spring Lake April 2020 Market Summary

My research of the Spring Lake real estate market last month indicated that home sales decreased as five homes sold in April versus the ten homes that sold in March.

It was to be expected that as the area continued to be under restrictions due to the Coronavirus, it would have an effect on home sales. The number of days on the market increased to 118 days. This is significantly longer than April of last year when the average number of days was 15. There are plenty of homes for sale with 48 active listings on the market including 5 new listings in April. The majority of these homes are listed above $500,000.00.

The average list price last month held steady for another month above three million dollars at $3,272,223.00 while the average sold price increased again by over one million dollars up to $2,918,000.00.

There are currently 63 homes for sale and 19 of those are under contract. It should be noted that this Spring Lake market analysis also includes Spring Lake Heights.
