Sea Girt March 2020 Market Review

Sea Girt is a desirable area where the oceanfront proximity to the custom beach homes creates an exclusive and sought-after community. According to my market research for March 2020, there were 29 active listings in Sea Girt with an average list price of $3,033,031. One home sold for $1,700,000, which was similar to March 2019 where one home sold for $1,650,000. Six new listings were added with five of these listed at a price point above $500,000.

The average number of days from listing to under contract in the month of March was 93. This was a decrease from February where the average number of days from listing to contract was 140. Last year in March of 2019, the average number of days from listing to contract was one month longer at 123 days.

Currently, 23 homes are for sale in this luxury market starting at $700,000 ranging up to $10,000,000. There are 11 homes under contract and projected to close in April and May.
