August 2020 Lake Como Market Review

The renovating and rebuilding of homes along North Boulevard has resulted in a beautiful lakeside landscape, creating an extremely sought-after section of Lake Como. With views of the water and maybe even the beach from your balcony, homebuyers are buying up lots and older homes to build their custom lakefront home. 

The market statistics for August showed that four homes sold with an average sale price of $411,250. There were four new listings with an average list price that increased from last month up to $684,613. In total, there were eight active listings, also an increase from July.

The number of days on the market was just under two months.

At this time, there are six homes for sale and eleven homes under contract in Lake Como, similar to last month’s numbers. One home that went under contract in August, 500 North Boulevard, is a beautiful corner lot craftsman with lake views and was listed at an escalated value. These types of recent neighborhood listings and sales continue to reflect the strength of the real estate market down the shore.
